A product with
its own character.
The Wax Republic needed a recognisable brand around its product. The work establishes that character through identity, packaging, imagery, copy and a website that brings the pieces together.
One brand story, carried from the first impression to the information on the pack.
The starting point.
For a specialist wax brand, the product and its presentation need to work together. A name and a set of specifications provide information; an identity gives that offer a recognisable face.
The challenge.
Starting from scratch means making several decisions at once: what the brand looks like, how a product is introduced and how the detail is explained. If those decisions pull in different directions, the customer has to do the work of connecting them.
Create a coherent introduction to The Wax Republic, with a distinctive identity and a consistent product story across physical and digital applications.
Character first.
Clarity alongside it.
The illustrated rider and serif wordmark give the brand a specific visual character. One provides detail and expression; the other makes the name direct and legible.
That balance carries into the wider work. The identity does not need to fill every surface. Leaving quieter areas around product information gives the customer a place to read, while the mark makes the material recognisable.
For Barossa Blend 26, landscape imagery connects the product name to a sense of place. It gives the campaign a story that can continue onto the website.

Let each part
do its job.
The visual identity was carried through packaging, campaign imagery, copy and website design. On the packaging example, the product name, practical information and logo each have a defined place on a neutral surface.
The campaign uses different views of vineyard country to build atmosphere around Barossa Blend 26. The website then puts landscape, product imagery and words into a sequence, moving from an introduction to a closer look at the offer.
Repeating the mark, typographic voice and image direction keeps the experience connected without making every application identical.
The whole story,
in one place.
The website gives the identity and product presentation a shared home. A visitor can see the brand character, inspect the packaging and read the product story within the same visual language.
The business purpose is a coherent first encounter: the product, the words and the appearance should support one another.

A brand foundation
built to carry through.
The work brings a new identity, product presentation and digital design into one connected body of material. The brand has a recognisable mark and a consistent way to introduce its products.
That foundation gives future communication a consistent starting point across pack, campaign and website. New applications can draw on the same identity, image direction and product story.
